The Green Smoothie To End All Green Smoothies
Apr 30, 2023In the warmer months I love a nutrient dense smoothie.
And anything to help make the spirulina more tolerable, well I'm all for it.
This is also a great quick post-workout option to get some protein into you straight away!
Here's my favourite green smoothie recipe:
1 x banana (or 2 if it doesn't fill you enough!)
Coconut water
The juice of 1 lemon
Generous nob of ginger
1 tsp spirulina
1 tsp glutamine
Flaxseed oil
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1-2 scoops of vanilla or salted caramel pea protein (I use this one)
Ice
